Shakelia LeBlanc, known as The Loan Slayer, is a mortgage loan officer based in South Carolina, specializing in VA, first-time homebuyer, and investor loans. Five years ago, she stepped into this industry with a clear purpose: to be the guide she wished she had when she bought her first home. What started as a personal mission has grown into a full calling, built on real relationships and life-changing moments at the closing table.

Over the years, Shakelia has walked alongside clients at every stage of life, from a determined 19-year-old buying her first home and turning it into an investment property, to couples in their 60s proving it is never too late, to veterans and traveling nurses who had been told "no" until she sat down and figured it out with them. She brings warmth, transparency, and genuine education to every transaction because to her, this work has never been just about approvals and numbers. It is about showing up for people during one of the biggest moments of their lives, and making sure they feel supported every step of the way.

I already have a preferred lender. Why would I make a switch? You don't have to drop anyone.

But ask yourself — is your current lender helping you grow your brand, create content, or bring education to you or your buyers? If the relationship is purely transactional, there may be more on the table than you're getting.

Do you provide leads?

As I continue expanding my marketing and lead generation efforts, some partnership opportunities may include online or referral leads. However, I’m focused on building long-term relationships — not transactional lead handoffs. My goal is to build genuine relationships first. The best partnerships naturally become reciprocal over time.

What type of agents are you looking to partner with?
